Strategic Assessment Workshops
The Problem
An e-commerce service company had been introducing new services at a fast pace but their billing and payments environment was not keeping pace and had become an obstacle to additional growth.
The Project
RPGC Group conducted a two day SAW to review the existing environment and their proposed future payments architecture. Interviews were conducted with representatives from Finance, Treasury, IT, Product Management, Fraud, and Customer Service.
The Result
RPGC Group made a number of recommendations that included organizational changes, educational programs, architectural enhancements, and operational improvements. In addition, recommendations were also made to change the payments flow and to convert customers to alternative forms of payments, which would save the Client over $1Million USD in payments costs per year.

The Problem
A UK-based e-commerce retailer wanted to "monetize" the value of its customer base.
The Project
The project consisted of exploring a co-branded program as a possible way to accomplish this objective. The project required developing the necessary financial models for evaluating co-branded card offers, identifying qualified issuers that met the retailer's requirements of image & financial rewards, and recommending to the retailer whether to move forward or not. This required extensive discussions and preliminary negotiations with some the largest credit card co-branded issuers (and merchant acquirers) in the UK.
The Result
After reviewing the analysis and recommendations, the retailer decided not to move forward with the project immediately, although they have in place the necessary financial models and qualitative analysis in place to make such a decision in the future
