Global Payments Landscape Overview

The Problem

A U.S.-based e-commerce service company was planning a massive international expansion but wanted to determine what forms of payment were acceptable in all of their target countries.

The Project

Working alongside one of its collaborative partners, RPGC Group researched, collated, and updated information on targeted countries. Information provided included a summary of the banking and payments space in each country, the forms of payments used in the Customer Not Present environment in each country, the economics of each method of payment, potential vendors and partners that could be used in each country and some of the regulatory implications associated with accepting each form of payment per country.

The Result

The Client was able to logically prioritize the order in which it would penetrate the target markets and to save significant time and effort by contacting referred vendors in each country
