RFP and Project Management

The Problem

A financial company in Japan needed to consolidate and bring in-house several small ATM and EFT/POS networks, while replacing many deployed obsolete ATM devices

The Project

A number of parallel efforts were undertaken over a period of 6 months to bring about this goal, which included:

• Definition of the business requirements and performance objectives
• Management of the RFP for identification and selection of software to run ATM network under a Facilities Management contract
• Identification of ATM vendor providers
• Management of the installation and conversion of new ATMs and network software

The Result

A 200 ATM and 3000+ POS device network implemented in record time saving company many millions of Yen monthly in service fees and maintenance expenses while delivering improved customer service levels and many new fraud control features not existent in the previous environment.
